Withdrawal of the USA’s help from Kenya and Africa at large

No man is an island they say, not unless proven otherwise. Kenya has been receiving a lot of money from the United States government yearly, but not anymore. I would say the decision is neutral and that on the negative side, it is going to take our government some time to collect money to be used in buying or rather manufacturing ARVs and anti-Tuberculosis tablets.
Positive consciences attract positive things both short and long term, for so long we have been slaves in our own country. We have fertile regions in the country but hell no, we can’t conduct any irrigation because of a treaty that was signed years ago. We benefit nothing, yet we have it all and call ourselves poor.
A Kenyan farmer can import Kenyan coffee which is pure. Kenyan coffee is the most expensive beverage worldwide, for it to be affordable, it has to be mixed with some cheap species to make it affordable. All of these are done overseas, then when the product is imported we buy it back at an expensive price. This is enough to show how rich we are, selling our raw materials to get already manufactured products with impurities, what a luxurious life.
I must say I’m awed by the fact that we are learned, educated, intelligent. The best gold is tested with time, let us show our intelligence to the country and the African continent by thinking universally and serving locally. Logisticity is not bought, we have the greatest minds ever but we like being helped like we are helpless. This is a wake up call people.
It is so ironic to have salty water lakes that produces salt serving the whole nation, but due to ignorance of signing treaties we only earn twenty Kenyan shillings per year. Let’s start making our deliberate choices, our leaders should not be allowed to visit foreign countries for help when they haven’t sought for local help from fellow political leaders. It is high time we trust and believe in each other.
I not only speak for Kenya but for Africa at large, hell is soon coming to our continent. We might lose some but we must fight to at least have a taste of the heaven created by our God. Let us build our own heaven, be independent, let us exploit our resources and practice the skills taught in books. A journey of so many miles starts with a step, start now. It is upon us, upon me, upon you to make the first move. Let us wait and see, who makes the first move? It’s a do or die situation.
