As we mentioned in the last blog, Jason had a fantastic WISH class with the Form 2s a few weeks ago. The girls were divided into 6 groups and collectively asked to come up with answers to the questions “What is Daraja Academy” and “What is WISH Class”? The prior blog included answers to “What is Daraja Academy?”. This time, the girls defined what WISH class meant to them.

WISH stands for Women of Integrity, Strength, and Hope. Students meet to discuss everything from future career paths to body image to self-respect. It has quickly become one of the most transformational aspects of Daraja’s educational model.
