Early marriage is a challenge for girls in my community.

Girls are the innocent people on earth according to me. In my community girls have big dreams to make their lives to be happy but the opportunity to reach their dreams is very small.

Most of them go through hardships. They are looked down upon people in my community who think that girls are only to be married. Most of them are being forced to be married to people whom they have never met.

Most of them are married off at the age of 15-16 year. It is very painful to watch but they don’t have anywhere else to go. It’s a must for them.  They are being brought husbands. They only see each other at the night before their wedding. Sometimes the man is ten times older than the young girl. Most of the parents do that due to greed.

After two years of their marriage, the young girls have a baby. The husband starts to be rude to her as if she is a good for nothing. He starts to look for other women who have been taken to school. He returns the girl to her parents. He has destroyed the life, knowing no one will marry a divorced woman.

Most of my friends classmates have gone through so much pain. My aim is to go back to my community and clear their thoughts that even girls can make it and are able to have everything they want in life.
