Knowing Your Background Will Help You Know Your Future

If you know your future, then I am sure your future will not be unfamiliar to you. We all know this African continent was colonized. The heroes and sheroes who participated in fighting for our independence did a good job. I don’t know how to show my gratitude to them. Neither could they even shave their hair neither could they even eat just to get our independence. Some participated in the cause of the fighting, some were deported and thrown away while others were badly injured. It is good that this country has just set aside a day to celebrate these heroes.

The things in this country are really not sensible. The heroes fought for a better us, a better Kenya, and a better continent. The position they left us was better than now. We have really developed a lot, but it seems that the future is going to be worse than today. The killing of innocent souls is really a normal thing nowadays. They fought so that the killing of innocent people could stop, so why are we doing this? It’s like they did nothing at all. The youth are really being put to blame if any crime happens, while the government cannot provide jobs for them.

We elect people whom we think are heroes but to our surprise, they are not. Leaders need to act like heroes for us to support them. Heroes thought of the nation first, not to fill their stomachs or their bank account. They should be our role model because they are the mirror of society. Acting like heroes will portray a good picture of our country.

We are the future of this world, this continent, and this country. We really do need to make heroes proud of us. We need to stand and cry for those innocent souls. Act like a leader and make everybody and yourself proud. Light a candle next to you and let the fire spread. You are a hero of yourself, you do not need to be recognized so as to know you have done a lot. 

Let the heroes smile every time we do something. Leadership starts inside you. The small things you do really matters a lot. LET’S ALL COME TOGETHER AND MAKE THE HEROES PROUD OF US.
