Power of Education

By Lucy W. (Form 1)

Politics

Education is the key to many locked treasures. It is a very unique inheritance because once you get it, no one will ever be able to take it away from you. Many people in the world suffer in the world just because they lack education. In the same world we have very successful people due to their level of education. Some lack education because of their family’s financial status. Others have to drop out of school which does not seem logical at all. I just wish they understood what it meant to be educated.

Education has the power to change your life in either a good way or a bad way. It depends on how seriously one takes it. Many people’s lives have changed just because of education. An example of a person whose life has changed due to education is President Barack Obama. Obama came from a very humble background. But due to his hard work and seriousness in education, he became a very prominent person known all over the world.

Many people struggle in their search for education and to make something of their lives. The more they struggle, the more powerful they become. Education is able to make people  respect you in society. Once you become educated, people will start changing their attitude towards you. It becomes a point that they can never make decisions without your presence. They will always choose you to be their leader. Education also enables one to be able to make good decisions in life in which they can live with the consequences.

When one is educated, he/she does not only become rich in terms of money but they also become rich  in terms of knowledge. A man  who is not educated can steal a train but the educated man can steal the whole railway.
