Gather your team
You can do this race alone or with friends. But we recommend doing it with a team to make it more fun!
Meet Your Daraja Family
When you sign up for this race, you become part of the Daraja family! If you sign up alone, we will pair you with a girl at Daraja. She will race at the school while you race at home. If you sign up with a team, we will pair your team with one of our unique Family Trees. At Daraja, Family Trees are groups of 4 or 5 girls who live as a family while at school. They have one girl from every Form, and all of the family trees have a diversity of tribes and religions. Your new family tree will cheer you on while they race at the school.
Race from Home
This is a 10 kilometer race, but don’t worry! This race can be completed all at once or in pieces. You can run, walk, or cycle from home. Just let us know when you finish!
Raise Funds for Girls' Education
Now it’s time to set your goal. How much do you want to raise for girls’ education? Let your friends and family know about your race and ask them if they want to help girls in need. The person or team who raises the most gets a prize.
