School is a Learning Place

School life is one of the most fun life that someone can ever live. Imagine going to class everyday and learn new things. School is where you meet different people from different cultures and backgrounds. School is where we get to learn about the need of us becoming united, living in harmony with one another. In school we learn how to embrace differences in different sectors eg. cultures, religions, and even language.

School is where most people get to realize their talents or what they are really good at doing. This is due because students will always try to show the rest what they like or what they really are best at. By this, some may get interested in that and want to learn about it. As I said earlier,  school is a learning place and everyday is a learning day. Someone may realise that he/she is capable of doing something at school, it’s only that they never knew how.

I’ll give an example of me. When I came to Daraja, I really never knew I could ever model or just perform some stuff in front of a crowd. But guess what? When I came to Daraja, in my first year, that is 2016, I saw people modelling. I decided to try as I got interested in it. We had a Gala Night and there were supposed to be specific few to entertain the crowd that particular night. People were trying out to see if they were the few lucky girls. God is good because by  luck I was among them. I got trained and I performed it perfectly that night. That is among my achievements in school.

School is where we also acquire knowledge that helps us to join universities and become better people.
