Where I Was Longing to Be

Daraja is a place I was longing to be. It is a school that takes Kenyans students that are not having enough money, those who can’t afford to be in a secondary school. Daraja does not take students who are capable of going to school.

Daraja takes students who deserve to be at Daraja. It is a school that has students from different parts of Kenya. This shows that no matter where you come from, Daraja will embrace you.

It was founded by Mr. Jason and Mrs. Jenny, who thought that building a school in Kenya will help the country of Kenya to grow. Their dreams are becoming now true, as we have student graduates from Daraja who have gone outside campus and help their families and communities. We have a teacher right now who is a graduate from Daraja. She is earning her money because she worked hard in Daraja, and after university she was qualified to be a teacher in Daraja.
