Say No to Drugs!

Why don’t you just simply ask yourself “Why is every youth doing this? What are the merits and demerits?” Always keep it in your head that right is right even if no one is doing it, and wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it. What is the purpose of your learning Science and Chemistry? We should understand now that we are not in school to pass exams neither are we to have white collar jobs. These studies are to change our lives and we in turn change the lives of others.

Drugs are not good for your health. Taking drugs is like digging for yourself an early grave and making for yourself a good coffin. Why do you have to do drugs? Because others are doing it? Well, some youths will say, “I am waiting for my friends to stop taking drugs then I will also stop.” Be aware that if you don’t stop, others won’t either. You cannot change a person but you can be a reason why someone changed.

Alcohol is dangerous. What is the benefit of having a 5 minutes pleasure and a sorrowful lifetime? Think that through before you sniff any bhang, taste any alcoholic drink, smoke any tobacco and chew any miraa. Long-lasting pleasure comes from within you. Communicate to your mind that you need pleasure and pleasure you will get. It is high time now that we stop depending on artificial non-long lasting pleasure.

Listen here youths, we are tomorrow leaders. Can we lead others when we can’t even lead ourselves? Please, before you do any drugs, think about the goals you have always dreamt of. That’s how one becomes a change maker.
