Human Imagination
By Stella W. (Form 3)
Poetry
We have beautiful imaginations.
Wonderful creation
That brings out the best innovation.
I saw that dazzling light
That appeared in the beautiful night
Coming away all darkness fright.
Then I saw an angel
Who had worn a golden bangle
It had different jingles
As if it were a hundred bangles.
He took me to a place
In which there was a palace.
All dazzling
All shimmering
All glittering
Beyond the world’s imagination.
Yes it was neither solid
Nor was it liquid
It was neither gas
Nor was it vapour
It was something beyond the wildest imagination.
I flew over it
I walked through it
I crawled under it
And I could run around it!
It was neither big nor small.
It was peaceful.
Full of the beautiful dreams
But before I could see who sat on the throne.
My brother woke me up.
“Oh! I just had my worst nightmare,” is what he said.
