Opinion
At Daraja Academy, we have an annual contest to choose the next Miss Daraja. Ten beautiful ladies believed in themselves and had so much poise and confidence for this competition.
The competition was tough because all the contestants were such vibrant participants, eloquent speakers and verbally expressive, they all had beauty and brains too.
Stella Wachira from Laikipia county emerged the winner of that contest. the judges said, what actually made her be the best in that particular situation was that she was eloquent and had great command in both English and Swahili language. She said she was almost sure she will win because of her well-organized points, her passion for modeling, and her confidence in public speaking.
The second runner up was Christine Chepkemoi, who was very satisfied with how well she carried herself and how competitive she was to emerge the second girl among ten contestants. She was so proud of herself and how her creativity came up during the contest and she believed she could have emerged the winner if she did the contest without being afraid of losing. Overall she enjoyed herself and discovered new potential in her.
Rahma Abdi came in 3rd and she was very proud of herself and her capabilities. She says she will be the next Miss Daraja and next time the other contestants should watch out for her pace because she will walk in hungry for that title.
