The Neglected Species

Show me your colour and I will show you your origin as well as the continent. Statistics say that Africa is the continent known to have the ‘darkest’ people, but does it really matter?? As far as I am concerned, no one ever knew that they would be born in the families they are in, with their parents and with their skin colors. If only we had the ability to change our personalities, then no one, and I mean no one would be poor or neglected. Black is beauty they say. I support this totally and even praise the colour by seeing the positive side like when we talk of skin cancer we are not that affected because of our melanin. Life is all about choice. We wish for so  much, inclusive of fantasies but can we change them? This is my thirty seconds prayer and a wish as well and it goes: ‘The Almighty Supreme Being grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change what I can and the wisdom to know the difference, Amen.”

The White Africans. I am more than proud and happy for you, peaceful are you always as well as jovial. That really makes me feel happy and loving. Never have you  discriminated against your own species. I am more than grateful for your heartfulness, even though you suffer. it is just but within. Positivity is your drive, the dark complexioned Africans, what do we do to our lives, owe unto you! If only you knew the beauty entailed within you, you would not have gone an extra mile of bleaching yourself; too bad you can’t make yourself dark again so it is a do or die game. Cosmetics are nice to women and young ladies (myself included) as “women are raw materials for cosmetic industries.” Do what you love but don’t over do it, makeup is what makes some of us who we are today. If I was asked to wish for anything, I would wish for my own makeup kit but not because what our African ladies have decided to do, turn themselves into whites. Yes discrimination is there but at least try appreciating who you are and what you have. Show gratitude to the supreme being.

Discrimination in general, we experience discrimination because of different reasons like the texture of one’s hair, the colour of the eye, one’s economic background, one’s tribe, religious backgrounds, gender and health status. Allow me to tell you this my people, this stops when you and I decided to be the master of our fates and the captains of our souls. We are so many with thousands of differences but before the supreme being we are all equal. I am Suzanne, a dark complexioned young lady. I am black by nature but proud by choice. We only have two tribes worldwide: the rich and the poor as far as discrimination is concerned. To my fellow ladies, how I wish you knew the devil you are inviting over by the negatives you do to yourself. You are making plans with the devil and he is going to land you in trouble, bid do what I say!
